My largest participatory project to date! Working with 68 artists from across the UK, 72 birds were created - one for each individual who passed in the Grenfell Tower tragedy in 2017. Inspired by Maya Angelou's "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" we appliqued a gilded cage. The panel is one of 8 exhibited at @TriennaleMilano 2025. The Grenfell Memorial Quilt project is on-going and is always seeking participants
